Maurits Cornelis Escher (1898-1972), better known as M. C. Escher, was a Dutch draftsman and printmaker born in Leeuwarden, The Netherlands. Boston Public Library’s collection shows the broad range of Escher’s talent as a printmaker. Now their collection of prints by M.C.
